Useful Information, Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts refer to the keys you can press to perform a specific
function or activity that you usually access through your mouse. Here
are some basic keyboard shortcuts you can use. Keep in mind, though,
that these shortcuts may vary, depending on the type of operating system
you use.
ALT + ESC
Switch through items within the order that they have been opened in
ALT + F4
Close down active programs or items you no longer wish to use
ALT + TAB
Cycle between any open programs on your desktop
CTRL + A
Select All
CTRL + C
Copy a file or document
CTRL + V
Paste the copied file or document
CTRL + X
Cut or remove a file or highlighted part of a file
CTRL + Z
Use this to undo an action i.e. if you make an error and wish to reverse
it
CTRL + N
Open new dialog/file box
CTRL + P
Print current file or document
SHIFT + DELETE
Will delete an object or file permanently
F10
Activate menu bar within current program
CTRL + ALT + DEL
Opens close program box in Windows 95/98/2000
