Introduction Internet law is usually in the process of being created. However, Internet law cannot keep pace with Internet commerce. Other areas of commerce can rely on historical traditions to help settle disputes and guide the development of the law, but the law of the Internet has very little history. Judges must fit legal disputes on the Internet into pre-existing legal frameworks develop “Cyber law.” The legal principles governing conduct and commerce on the Internet are usually in a state of flux.
